Sharp was born and raised at home in Rochester (New York) and embraced music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet as well as piano. Her enthusiasm for school theatre led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she received an award. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp's first focus was the stage. She performed in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida and also Thunder Knockin Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reader in August Wilson's Come and Gone. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she's written or co-written. The singer is also making her debut full-length album of her own. Sharp loves fitness. She is active by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
