Her tenure as a reporter at The Washington Post was spent reporting on multiple Olympics, Grand Slam Tennis along with basketball, football and other sports. Nichols has won two Emmy Awards during her nine-year time at ESPN and was featured in the most watched programs like NFL Countdown or SportsCenter, moved to ESPN following 2004. Also, she was a correspondent for Monday Night Football on the network. She then moved to CNN and Turner Sports. Unguarded: Rachel Nichols hosted her own show on CNN International. More than a billion people watched the show worldwide. Nichols was also a reporter to TNT in NBA broadcasts during playoffs and broadcasts for the All-Star game. The reporter also reported on golf, baseball, and Final Four broadcasts for CBS and TBS. It was only the second time in its 42-year history that a woman was nominated out of more than 200 nominations.
