Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback singer and musician, who is most often in Tamil and Malayalam film languages. Annayum, a Malayalam film, was her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai, attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a classical piano lessons at age eight, has been called being a "geek" and wanted to be a psychiatric until the 12th grade exam. Young Stars is a Jackson Five kind of group which she joined when she was 10 years old and was the beginning of her singing and music career. She was performer in the college, in a variety of productions hosted through The Madras Players or EVAM. She was President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She was also on Podhigai Channel in a television series. She's performed all across India. She was in a short role at the end of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Vaisudev Menon was able to have her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then asked to have her play the role of a female lead on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed. It featured Andrea playing Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, whose husband engages in an affair, and then is blackmailed. Andrea was cast in the film after Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. It was released early in 2010. It was released in the month of August, 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to take on a lesser supporting role. Annayum Rasoolum by Rajeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she made her debut in Malayalam by releasing on August 11, 2013.
