Angela Sun
Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster in addition to filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has won awards for her efforts in Santa Clara County California was born October 19, 1979. Her education includes Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun has excellent surfing abilities. She was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf contests that allowed her to get sponsorships from brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition through these events was like rocket fuel that helped her get into the entertainment industry. Then, she went on to become a film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun was an anchor on newscasts for a variety of channels. Sun was the Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. She also co-hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the year 2014. She is the only Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a regular in a number of films and has received recognition and praise for her acting talent. She has worked in movies like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun, who wrote and directed the documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch on ocean plastic pollution and its effects on the environment in 2014, has released the feature length film.
