Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in a mixed ethnic family. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, while her mother was English. She grew on the South London community estate, as a teenager, she 14, attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. Over the past few years, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. Her popularity has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008, she got Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season three. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked in tandem on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had part in the show with her. the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty along with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's sports brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey in the winter. Ashley had never been able to walk. She would dance. At 2 and a 1/2, she joined Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished in high school. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
