Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as one of the sport's greatest athletes. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria were conceived from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at age six after a visit with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman as coach until 2011. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before her debut in 2011 at the top section of gymnastics competition. Within two years, she won the event. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
